The SIMU202 from Sensonor Technologies AS, Horten, Norway, is a multiaxis, high-performance gyro module for safety-critical applications in the aerospace and defense markets. The device has an in-run bias stability of better than 2°/hr., angular random walk as low as 0.2°/√Hz, a measuring range of ±400°/s, and a 24-bit digital output calibrated over the entire temperature range. Suited for use in missile guidance, AHRS, platform stabilization, and drilling surveys the gyro offers an alternative to FOG and mechanical gyros.
