MEASURpoint from Data Translation Inc., Marlboro, MA, is a multipurpose instrument for measuring any combination of RTD, thermocouple, and voltages from 300 {mu}V to 400 V. The device lets you simultaneously correlate temperature and voltage measurements and features up to 48 configurable input channels in groups of 8 voltage, thermocouple, and RTD inputs. The instrument supports Type B, E, J, K, N, R, S, and T thermocouple types and Pt100, Pt500, and Pt1000 RTDs and features software-selectable ±10 V, ±100 V, ±400 V voltage ranges; USB or Ethernet versions; 1000 V isolation between input channels; ±500 V isolation to earth ground; separate DC/DC converters/channel; 24-bit ADC resolution/channel; and throughput rates of 10 Hz (simultaneous) or 480 Hz (48 input channels).
