The transmitter features EtherNet/IP and Modbus RS-485 digital communication; diagnostics; the ability to commission the device from the control room via a digital fieldbus communications link or locally via a Web browser via the embedded Web server; approval for operation in Zone 2 and Class 1, Div. 2 hazardous areas; and approval (with the intrinsically safe Modbus output) for Zone 1 and Class 1, Div. 1 areas. The transmitter can be combined with industry-specific sensors, materials, and finishes for use in food, beverage, life sciences, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries.
