According to their maker, the ZFM mass flow meters combine meter intelligence, user convenience, and notable flow performance. Designed for multi-gas/multi-range functionality up to 8 bar, they specify a standard accuracy of ± (0.5% RD + 0.2% FS) based on actual calibration. They interface to a PC via an RS-232/RS-485 port to access the company’s configuration utility software. Users can select different gas types and flow ranges without removing the meter from the installation. Other features include self-diagnostics with status LED or OLED (optional) indication, automatic sensor zero offset adjustment, two programmable totalizers, full-scale covered flow ranges from 3.5 sml/min to 10 sl/min in seven models, selectable analog 0 to 5 Vdc, 0 to 10 Vdc, or 4 to 20 mA outputs, and a universal 14 to 24 Vdc power supply input.
