Avtron Mfg. Inc., Independence, OH, features a hollow-shaft, insulated design. Shaft sizing inserts let you resize the encoder to meet your needs. The encoder fits shafts from 1/2 in. to 1 1/8 in. and offers resolutions up to 2048 ppr, 0–165 kHz frequency range, and A quad B with marker output format. Max. speed is 4700 rpm. An EPIC-style connector is optional.
