Machine-Vision Cameras Enlist SONY Global Shutter Sensors

SMARTEK Vision adds six models to its twentynine camera series that employ the latest SONY Pregius 9 Mpixel and 12 Mpixel CMOS Global Shutter image sensors. The latest twentynine cameras feature the SONY IMX253, IMX255, IMX267 and IMX304 sensors and feature a very small form factor. They are said to offer unique possibilities for fast and affordable machine vision applications and intelligent traffic systems (ITS). As a side note, the SMARTEK Vision’s UCC and GCC models support USB3 and GigE Vision.

The twentynine cameras feature a small form factor measuring 29 mm x 29 mm and come with standard connectivity, enhanced processing capabilities, and a flexible customization concept.

The UCC4111 with SONY’s IMX255 sensor and the UCC4113 featuring the IMX253 sensor provide frame rates of 42 fps and 32 fps, respectively. The models UCC/GCC4112 and UCC/GCC4114 feature SONY’s IMX267 and IMX304 sensors, respectively, and provide the same features and imaging performance with slower frames rates. These models are more affordable, and support Machine Vision and ITS applications. For more details, contact FRAMOS GmbH, Germany. +49(0)89710667-0
