M2M Module from Telit Wireless Solutions

The HE863 fully-equipped HSPA M2M module in a BGA form-factor from Telit Wireless Solutions, Raleigh, NC, has an embedded GPS receiver and is intended for high-throughput data transmission devices with a long lifetime and that are intended for long-term use after 2G network switch-off. The module supports quad-band GSM, GPRS/EDGE multislot class 33, 3GPP stack Release 6, and dual-band HSPA with 5.76 Mbps (uplink) and 7.2 Mbps (downlink) and features over-the-air firmware updates. The company supplies the module with an optional embedded GPS/A-GPS receiver.
