M2M Cellular Modems from BlueTree Wireless

BlueTree Wireless Data Inc., div. of SIXNET LLC, Chapel Hill, NC, offers the 6400 Series of rugged cellular modems based on 2G EDGE wireless technology and intended for fixed M2M applications such as telemetry and SCADA. The modems include the BT-6401 industrial modem for telemetry/SCADA applications, in the oil/gas, electric utilities, and waste/water management industries; the BT-6401EB for applications that require integrated Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability; and the BT-6421 industrial switch that has an integrated 5 Ethernet port layout and is designed for applications that require multiple Ethernet port connectivity. The modems support the EDGE protocol with automatic fallback to GPRS.
