Binder-USA adds eight-pin, X-coded connectors to its M12 product family. With X-coding, it’s now possible to transmit up to 10 Gb/s for industrial applications. The higher bandwidth is the result of isolating the four pairs from one another with an X-shape shield. M12 X-coding conforms to IEC 61076-2-109 to ensure compatibility worldwide and between different manufacturers. Overmolded male M12 double-ended cordsets and male M12 to male RJ45 CAT6A cordsets are currently available in standard 2m, 5m, and 10m lengths.
