The LD46 series luminescence sensors target applications such as pharmaceutical, woodworking, automatic packaging, and mechanical industries where ultraviolet light can be emitted and receive visible light reflected from luminescent surfaces. The components detect fluorescent marks on any object separately from its color, material, and distance inside the operating range. They avoid interferences or reflections from non-luminescent surfaces like mirrors, glass, shiny metal surfaces, etc. Switching frequency spans up to 2 kHz.
