The U2000 Series of ultra-low-profile, high-frequency-response load cells from Sherborne Sensors, Wyckoff, NJ, are available in standard load ranges from 1–25 kN and suited for space-limited applications. The miniature tension and compression load cell incorporates multiple strain gauges, strategically placed to counteract and minimize errors from unwanted side or axial forces. The corrosion-resistant device has an aerospace-quality SS housing, is IP54 rated, and operates in temperatures from –4°F to 176°F. Applications include materials testing and high-speed load measurement, particularly where peak forces are monitored.
