The P356 from Kavlico, Moorpark, CA, is a low pressure gauge/differential pressure sensor for applications that require long-term stability and an operational life in excess of 10 yr. The sensor is available in pressure ranges of 0–0.5 psi, 0–1 psi, ±1 psi, 0–3 psi, and 0–5 psi and provides a linear amplified 4.5–5 VDC voltage output proportional to pressure. Features include a ceramic variable capacitive sensing element; integral ASIC with hybrid circuit for signal conditioning; <10 ms response time; an operating temperature range of –20°C to 125°C; built-in reverse polarity and over-voltage protection; excellent hysteresis, repeatability, and linearity; a brass housing, and EMI protection.
