The Model 5611T Teflon probe from Hart Scientific, a div. of Fluke Corp., American Fork, UT, is a secondary reference thermistor with a 3 mm dia. tip and a Teflon-insulated 6 m 4-wire lead. The probe's calibration and construction enable ±0.01°C uncertainty readings to be taken quickly in either deep or shallow immersion. The device is suited for use in biopharmaceutical and other industries with harsh chemical environments.
