Designed for rugged use, the LV-45 series inductive, contactless linear position sensor employing LVIT technology can withstand the high vibration and severe shock environment found in steel, aluminum, and paper mills, as well as extremes of temperature and humidity. The sensor replaces traditional DC-LVDTs in most applications. A simple coil design permits it to be both shorter and more rugged than its DC-LVDT counterpart while operating over a wider temperature range. Features include five ranges (100 mm, 150 mm, 200 mm, 250 mm, and 300 mm) an operating temperature range from -40ºC to +85ºC, 0 to 10 Vdc or 4 to 20 mA outputs, double shaft seals, axial or radial connector or cable terminations, and optional mounting hardware.
