TURCK Inc.

The Q-track QR14 and Q17 inductive linear position sensors from TURCK Inc., Minneapolis, MN, are 14 and 17 mm high, respectively, and provide dependable, repeatable measurements in applications with space limitations and harsh environments. The sensors use the RLC resistance inductance capacitance principle. Printed emitter coils are activated with a high-frequency AC field and produce an inductive RLC circuit with the printed receiver coils that are inductively coupled with the positioning element. Depending on the actuator position, different voltages are induced in the coils. Features include a minimal blind zone, weld-field immunity, noncontact position feedback, a low-profile design, and a rugged housing.
