The hermetically sealed HSTAR 750 Series devices from Macro Sensors, Pennsauken, NJ, are SS, 3/4 mm. dia. AC-operated position sensors that can operate in temperatures to 400°F. Available in ranges of ±0.050 in. to ±10.0 in., the devices are offered in several standard options and feature high resolution, excellent repeatability, and low hysteresis. The sealed radial connector at one end results in a throughbore design that permits access to either or both ends of the unit's core for better mechanical support and core guidance.
