The Deltapilot FMB 70 from Endress+Hauser Inc., Greenwood, IN, is a hydrostatic level pressure transmitter for food, beverage, dairy, and pharmaceutical applications. Features include a watertight Contite pressure measuring cell; 316L NEMA 6P-rated SS housing with polycarbonate sight glass; ability to measure level with 0.1% accuracy; built-in temperature compensation; ability to program the device with strapping tables for nonlinear tanks; and operation in process temperatures from –10°C to 100°C. The device can measure level in units of pressure, height, volume, or mass. Communication options include 2-wire 4–20 mA with HART, Profibus PA, Foundation Fieldbus, or WirelessHART.
