LEM and Graybar Collaborate on Energy Monitoring

MILWAUKEE, WI -- LEM, a leading manufacturer of isolated current and voltage measurement components, announced a distribution agreement with Graybar, a leading distributor of electrical and communications products and provider of related supply chain management and logistics services. As part of this agreement, Graybar will match its customers' needs with the wireless sub-metering capabilities provided by LEM's Wireless Local Energy Meter (Wi-LEM) network.

"With soaring energy prices, companies must reduce energy costs to remain competitive," said Michael Maher, Graybar's National Product Manager, Automation. "Unfortunately, many facilities do not have proper visibility into how and where they consume the most energy. Wi-LEM enables operations managers to monitor their precise consumption so they can uncover opportunities for efficiency improvements and reduced costs. These capabilities make the product a strong addition to our supplier network."

Wi-LEM is quick and easy to install and is a complete sub-metering platform for energy monitoring. The product measures and transmits various electrical parameters through a wireless mesh network. With its compact size, Wi-LEM is suitable for limited cabinet space and is flexible enough to fit anywhere in the cabinet. It is scalable and easy to add additional meters if needed.

"Graybar's proven track record for delivering and managing projects will help us expand our customer base and broaden our geographic area," said Loïc Moreau, Business Segment Manager Energy & Automation for LEM. "We're excited to work with such a reputable company in the electrical and communication industry and look forward to maintaining a productive, long-term relationship."
