From simple, low-cost applications to fully-customizable designs, the company offers three leak detection systems. Complementing the company's double containment piping systems, the three systems include the 918Q Alarm Box, PAL-AT Continuous Cable System, and the Low Point Leak Detection System. For simple, low-cost leak detection requirements, the 918Q Alarm Box handles up to four sensor signals and features audible and visual alarm indicators. The device emits a 9-dB alarm from four feet away and uses standard lithium batteries. Low-battery visual indication is included. Microprocessor based, the PAL-AT offers multi-sensing and remote monitoring of as many as four separate sensing zones, each with up to 7,500 feet of sensor cable. The system also offers wet cable startup and is capable of locating multiple leaks and growing leaks. The fully customizable Low Point Leak Detection System uses 12 discrete inputs, which allows a leak to be identified at a specific location point in the pipe. Other features include complete output functionality, availability of additional points, power protection, and locking latches.
