Designed for difficult distance-based applications over a range of 25 mm to 300 mm, the Q4X laser sensor reliably detects distance changes as small as 1 mm on challenging targets like black objects on black backgrounds or reflective items. High excess gain and a 64-element imager combine to minimize errors in detection, counting and validating orientation. An angled four-digit, seven-segment LED display with push-buttons allows intuitive setup and easy viewing. A bright output indicator provides high visibility of operation. Bipolar (PNP and NPN) outputs integrate the sensor with PLC or other control units. Additionally, its stainless steel housing is rated IP67, IP68, IP69K, and is Ecolab certified.
