A joint effort from Renesas Electronics and California Eastern Laboratories (CEL), the PS9531 isolated gate drive optocoupler in an 8 pin DIP package is tailored to meet the isolation requirements of motor controls, drives, inverters, and induction heating equipment. The device also meets the demands of silicon carbide power transistors due to high switching speed and high noise immunity capabilities. Features include an upper operating ambient temperature limit of +125°C, a common mode transient immunity of 50 kV/µs, and a propagation delay time of 175 ns maximum. Pricing is $1.54 each/2,500.
