ISM Band Automotive Transceiver from SensorDynamics

The SD341 single-chip, quad-band, multichannel and transceiver system from SensorDynamics, Graz-Lebring, Austria, has a universal sensor interface and is designed to run on very low power generated by energy harvesting. An ultralow-power management circuit allows operation with microwatt power, activating the onboard 8051 microcontroller and other blocks needed for a certain task as soon as sufficient energy is detected. The IC supports 315, 433, 868, and 915 MHz ISM bands and features data rates up to 125 Kbps, 32 KB onchip Flash memory, up to 12 mixed-signal general-purpose I/O pins, 4-wire SPI-compatible and UART interfaces, two 12-bit ADCs with 400 kHz bandwidth, an 8-bit DAC, and a min. supply voltage of 2 V.
