The IRIG106 Chapter 10 interface standard provides a well-defined control and download interface, supporting requirements for inter-vendor playback of data for software-based decommutation systems and hardware-based telemetry systems. In addition, the standard supports complete analog reconstruction of original signal types while preserving accurate time coherency between channels for signal types including video, MIL-STD-1553, PCM, analog, and discrete data.
