The IS 6 Advanced and IGA 6 Advanced digital IR pyrometers from LumaSense Technologies Inc., Santa Clara, CA, are for steel-marking processes such as induction heating and cooling, melting, casting, annealing, rolling, forging, and sintering and in the advanced manufacturing processes for ceramics, graphite, and other carbon materials. Measuring ranges are from 600°C–3000°C (IS 6 Advanced) and 250°C–2500°C (IGA 6 Advanced). The pyrometers have focusable optics, high accuracy and repeatability, 120 µs response time, an LED display, and SS housings.
