HLR LVDT linear position sensors from Macro Sensors, Pennsauken, NJ, are rated for operation to 100°C and are UL-/ULC-listed for hazardous locations Class I, Div. 1, Groups A, B, C, D, and Class I, Zone 2. Available in F.S. measurement ranges from ±1 in. to ±10 in., the sensors offer repeatability typically better than 0.01% F.S., nonlinearity <0.25% F.S., and a throughbore design. The SS devices offer reliable, contactless position measurement for applications such as fuel valve position feedback, vane pitch servo controls, governor controls, and generator shell expansion in power plants using gas turbines.
