Using the Cheminert HPLC injector design and a 24V motor from the company’s micro-electric actuators, the C55 just connects to the instrument’s power supply. Control requires a single momentary contact closure that steps the valve to the next position. A separate contact closure moves the valve to position 1 (home). Additionally, an optional serial interface board permits RS-232 communications for both random position input control and confirmation of valve position.
