Integrated Communications Processor from e2v

The P2020 from e2v technologies plc, Chelmsford, U.K., is an extended-reliability version of the Freescale P2020 QorIQ integrated processor for high-performance, power-sensitive applications in aerospace, defense, and demanding outdoor environments. The processor incorporates Dual Power Architecture e500 processor cores operating at up to 1.2 GHz; a 512 KB L2 cache; and SerDes, Gigabit Ethernet, PCI Express, and RapidIO interfaces; is software compatible with existing PowerQUICC processors; and can be used in extended-reliability environments including communications, networking, and computation-intensive applications in temperatures from –55°C to 125°C.
