The Series AP50XX signal conditioner from Stellar Technology Inc., Amherst, NY, can be placed anywhere inline between the transducer and DA system, for applications where high-level output is required but application temperatures or physical size constraints don't allow signal conditioning at the point of measurement. The all-welded, SS devices are available with 4–20 mA, 0–5 VDC, 0–10 VDC, and 1–5 VDC analog or RS-232, RS-485, or CANbus digital outputs. Options include zero/span adjustment, customer-specified electrical terminations, EMI/RFI filtering, surge protection, hermetic construction, assorted mating connector/cable assemblies, mounting brackets, and intrinsic safety (4–20 mA current loop versions).
