The InertiaCube2+ from InterSense Inc., Bedford, MA, integrates 9 discrete miniature sensing elements to provide 3 DOF inertial sensing with a full 360° angular range on all axes, a max. angular rate of 1200°/s, and 1° (yaw) and 0.4° (pitch and roll) RMS accuracy. Features include 40 mA power consumption, 36.6 by 27.7 by 18.8 mm size, 17 g weight, and RoHS compliance. The 3-DOF product software includes static and dynamic magnetic calibration compensation software, access to accelerometer and gyro data, support for Windows Vista and XP, improved configuration, an improved sensor server application, and integrated support for wireless InertiaCube3 configuration and testing.
