Digi International, Minnetonka, MN, offers industrial-grade versions of its ConnectPort X4 gateway and XBee adapters. The ConnectPort X4 NEMA provides ZigBee to GSM connectivity and is integrated into a NEMA 4X/IP66 enclosure. The XBee adapters allow you to wirelessly enable existing electronic devices and now have lithium batteries for extended life in extreme temperatures. The ConnectPort X4 provides Ethernet, serial, and USB interfaces; 4 analog input ports; an open-frame power supply; and a native Python engine for programmability. Applications for the ConnectPort X4 include tank or pipeline monitoring, precision irrigation control, and automated metering infrastructure. XBee adapters are available with RS-232, RS-485, digital I/O, and analog I/O interfaces.
