The N-Tron 7900 fully managed industrial Ethernet switch from Red Lion Controls, York, PA, supports up to twenty-four 10/100 Mbps ports plus two additional Gigabit Ethernet ports for use in manufacturing and industrial environments. The switch has a modular platform with a variety of flexible fiber/copper port options; a command line interface, Web browser, or N-Tron's N-View OPC software; and VLAN, QoS, trunking, port mirroring, and automatic IGMP configuration to optimize network performance. Approved for use in Class I, Div. 2 hazardous locations, the switch features EtherNet/IP CIP messaging, N-Ring and N-Link for dynamic failover, port security, an integrated DHCP server, configuration backup, and link-layer discovery protocol (LLDP).
