The E2EH from Omron Electronics LLC, Schaumburg, IL, is an inductive proximity sensor in a food-grade 316L SS housing. The sensor withstands temperatures to 120°C and resists corrosion from detergents and disinfectants. Suited for use in food material handling, bottling machines, filling machines, bakery ovens, and dairy applications, the sensors are water-resistant to 120°C verified to 1000 hr., high-pressure cleaning with 8000–10,000 kPa pressure, and 80°C water temperature for 30 s at all angles. The sensor is available in standard M12, M18, and M30 sizes and in DC 2-wire models with or without polarity as well as DC 3-wire models with PNP output.
