The iVu Series TG compact, self-contained image sensor with touchscreen controls from Banner Engineering Belgium BVBA, Diegem, Belgium, is designed for inspection applications on the factory floor. The device operates without a PC and combines the simplicity of a photoelectric sensor with the intelligence of a vision sensor. Inspection tools include a match sensor to compare a part to a reference, an area sensor to detect the presence or absence of a feature, and an area sensor that adjusts for motion. Features include rapid installation, a 68.5 mm LCD screen, an adjustable focus lens, an IP67-rated housing, and a variety of cordsets and mounting brackets.
