Promising to enhance patient safety in digital radiography applications, the KAF-09001 CCD image sensor enables video imaging under reduced x-ray dosage conditions. The device delivers the same imaging performance as its forerunner, the KAF-09000, while integrating an output architecture that supports a high sensitivity video mode. This facilitates patient positioning while minimizing overall x-ray exposure.

Specifications include a resolution of 9 Mpixels, quad-output design supporting readout speeds up to 20 MHz for a 10x increase in the full resolution frame rate, and a video preview at rates up to 10 fps when the device is operating with 3 x 3 binning.
