Cerabar M PMC51 and PMP51 pressure transmitters from Endress+Hauser Inc., Greenwood, IN, provide absolute and gauge measurements in gases, steams, or liquids and level, volume, or mass measurements in liquids. The PMP51 has a piezoresistive measuring cell and metal process-isolating diaphragm while the PMC51 has a capacitive measuring cell and ceramic process isolating diaphragm. Standard accuracy is 0.15% with 0.075% accuracy available as an option; long-term stability is 0.1% of upper-range limit (URL)/yr. and 0.25% of URL/5 yr. The devices work in temperatures up to 752°F or pressures up to 6000 psi. Outputs include 4–20 mA, 4–20 mA with HART, Profibus PA, and Foundation Fieldbus.
