The MikroKera H2S sensor from Synkera Technologies Inc., Longmont, CO, is designed for low power, reliability, and performance in life- and property-protection applications. The sensor uses the company's micromachined nanostructured ceramic microsensor platform made from anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) that offers performance, reliability, and scalability. Additional sensors for detection of chlorine, ammonia, and carbon monoxide will be introduced later this year.
