High-Temperature MEMS Gyroscope Boost Productivity

Promising to increase the productivity of oil and gas drilling equipment, the ADXRS645 embarks as the industry’s first and only MEMS gyroscope specified to withstand temperatures of up to +175ºC. Providing reliable vibration immunity, the device delivers a minimum rotational measurement range of ±2,000°/s and the ability to accurately sense angular rotation. Other features include 5V single-supply operation, a minimum of 1,000 hours of operation, and a unique ceramic vertical-mount package. Available in an 8 mm x 9 mm x 3 mm ceramic, side-braze through-hole package, price is $975 each/1,000.
