High-Temperature Accelerometers from IMI Sensors

The EX600B13 and EX600B14 from IMI Sensors, a div. of PCB Piezotronics Inc., Depew, NY, are high-temperature accelerometers for vibration measurement in gas turbines in temperatures up to 482°C. The Model EX600B13 has 100 mV/g sensitivity and the Model EX600B14 has 10 mV/g sensitivity. Frequency range for both sensors is 4.7–4000 Hz ±5%. The accelerometer assemblies have 1-piece construction with hermetically sealed integral hardline cable and include a side-exit charge-mode sensor, 10-ft. integral hermetically sealed hard-line cable, and an inline charge amplifier. Coupling an integral sensor, cable, and charge amplifier provides gas turbine operators with a complete measuring chain.
