The Model 600A13 from PCB Piezotronics Inc., IMI Sensors Div., Depew, NY, is a high-temperature industrial-grade accelerometer that outputs a standard 100 mV/g acceleration signal from its integral charge converter. Temperature rating is 482°C at the sensor head. Frequency range is 2–5 kHz. The sensor can be used with conventional ICP sensor signal conditioners and data collection equipment and is suited for vibration monitoring on gas turbines, engines, pump and paper machinery, steel mills, and petrochemical pumps. A traceable NIST-amplitude response calibration is included.
