The IFRH Series inductive sensors from Baumer Ltd., Southington, CT, are two-part proximity switches for sensing applications exposed to temperatures from –25°C to 180°C. The switches are available in M8, M12, and M18 versions and are intended for flush-face installation. Features include 30 mm length, nominal switching distance from 1.5–5 mm, operating voltage range of 10–30 VDC, and an IP67 rating. An FEP-jacketed cable connects the electronics to the sensor head. Applications include aerospace, automotive, marine, PCB fabrication, food and beverage processing, oil processing, chemical processing, packaging and water treatment.
