High-Repetition Rate Double BBO Pockels Cells Enable Fast Q-switching Lasers

Tailored to fast Q-switching lasers in regenerative amplifiers or for pulse pickers, the LINOS double BBO high-repetition Pockels Cells (DBBPC HR), feature two crystals in an optical series to enable the fastest possible switching rates available, up to 1.3 MHz. Applications for the cells include micro material processing, ophthalmology, and fluorescence spectroscopy. In addition to coatings for 1,064 nm and 1,030 nm, customer-specific wavelengths are also available upon request. Specifications include 2.7-mm or 3.2-mm apertures, a transmittance greater than or equal to 98%, extinction ratio without voltage greater than 1000:1, and capacitance less than 8 pF.
