High-Pressure Sensor from American Sensor Technologies

AST47HP Series pressure sensors from American Sensor Technologies Inc., Mount Olive, NJ, are available in pressure ratings up to 60,000 psig and are suited for use in diesel fuel rails, high-pressure wells, hydraulics, injection-molding equipment, water jets, and downhole instrumentation. Sensors have a 1-piece SS sensing element with a thick diaphragm to eliminate long-term drift, a SS housing, 100 V/m EMI/RFI protection, and rating for >100 million pressure cycles. Accuracy is ±0.25% BFSL. Outputs are 10 mV/V, 0–5 V (3- or 4-wire), 0–10 V (3- or 4-wire), 1–5 V, 1–6 V, 1–10 V, or 4–20 mA (loop).
