High-Performance Gyro Module from Sensonor

The STIM210 from Sensonor Technologies AS, Horten, Norway, is a low-cost, low-power, high-reliability triaxial gyro module that weighs 52 g and can be used as a replacement for fiber-optic or mechanical gyros. The MEMS device features a 0.5°/hr. bias instability, 0.10°/√hr.. noise, and an operating temperature range of –40°C to 85°C. The sensor is insensitive to magnetic fields and is suited for use in navigation, guidance, and platform stabilization applications in the industrial, aerospace, and defense markets.
