High-Isolation DA Instruments from Data Translation

Data Translation Inc., Marlboro, MA, has added the DT8875 and DT8876 ultrahigh-isolation Ethernet temperature and voltage measurement instruments to its MEASURpoint DA line. The DT8875 offers ±1400 V isolation continuously or 2500 V for transients while the DT8876 offers ±3500 V isolation continuously or 5000 V for transients. Channel-to-channel isolation is 2800 V for the DT8875 and 7000 V for the DT8876. Features include 24-bit Delta Sigma ADCs for each channel, up to 40 (DT8875) or 20 (DT8876) simultaneous differential inputs; ability to measure thermocouples, RTD, or voltage; up to 10 Hz sampling per channel; and MEASURpoint Framework and Web-based applications. Accuracy is up to ±0.24°C for thermocouples and ±0.03°C for Pt RTDs.
