Macro Sensors
The LP 750 Series from Macro Sensors, Pennsauken, NJ, now includes 5 VDC hermetically sealed frictionless position sensors for hydraulic cylinder and valve position sensing in off-road vehicles, farm equipment, and construction equipment. Output is 0.5–4.5 VDC. Sensors are available in standard ranges of 3.75–24 in. and in three outputs, including 5 VDC input with 0.5–4.5 VDC output (LPVR Series), precalibrated loop-powered 4–20 mA I/O (LPIR Series), or nominal 24 VDC input and 0–10 VDC output (LPER Series). The devices offer a short sensor body length to sensor range, making them suitable for use in long-stroke applications where sensor length needs to be essentially the same length as the stroke of the device.
