WILMINGTON, MA -- Heilind Electronics has acquired MPS Group, a distributor of electronic components and manufacturer of cable assemblies for the European Mil-Aero Marketplace.

The privately held MPS Group comprises three companies: MPS-T (Terminal) serving the industrial marketplace, MPS-E (Electronic) serving the Mil-Aero marketplace, and MPS-K (cable) a contract cable assembler also serving the Mil-Aero marketplace. It is headquartered in Feldkirchen-Westerham, Germany, just outside of Munich.
