Sendix single-turn magnetic absolute encoders from TURCK, Minneapolis, MN, have 12-bit analog and 14-bit CANopen outputs and are designed for applications that require rugged, high-resolution encoders. The magnetic absolute encoders have fully encapsulated electronics and a separated mechanical assembly, a high resistance to shock (rated to 500 g) and vibration (rated to 30 g), interlocking bearings on the flange and a mechanically protected shaft seal to protect the encoder from external debris during installation. Encoders for CANopen networks may be programmed via the bus for node address, baud rate, and termination.
