The 9360 noncontacting rotary dual-output Hall effect sensor from BEI Duncan Electronics, Irvine, CA, has an electrical angle of 0°–359.9° with ±0.6% F.S. accuracy at room temperature and ±0.9% F.S. over the entire temperature range. Designed for high-vibration applications in heavy equipment, off-highway, marine, and industrial markets, the device can be used for throttle control and brake pedals, wheel positioning for tractors, farm implement position feedback, and forklift position sensing. It incorporates a compression-molded rotating Neodymium disk magnet and its integrated Hall effect chip is sealed to IP66/IP67. Features include 25.8 by 41.1 by 50.7 mm size, independent dual outputs, the ability to withstand 10 G vibration, 20–2000 Hz; 50 G shock; and half sine pulse of 5 ms duration.
