The CW45A and CW46 GPS sensors from NavSync Ltd., Aurora, IL, are fully integrated modules that include a CW25 GPS receiver, DC/DC converter, active GPS antenna, and RS-232, RS-422, and USB interface options. The modules are housed in small weatherproof (IP56-rated) enclosures. The GPS receiver is designed for acquiring and tracking satellites in weak signal areas, such as under dense foliage, severe urban canyons, and inside buildings. The CW45 is a GPS navigational module while the CW46 is a GPS timing module. Both can acquire satellites at signal levels down to –155 dBm with network-assisted ephemeris data and can track satellites down to –155 dBm.
