Geophysical/Geotechnical Tiltmeter Integrates Micrometer-Leveling Legs

Geophysical/Geotechnical Tiltmeter Integrates Micrometer-Leveling Legs
Jewell Instruments LLC

Model A601-2 dual-axis sensor has built-in micrometer leveling legs for easy installation on any horizontal surface. The A601-2 tiltmeter series debuts as the company’s latest installment to the electrolytic sensor family for geophysical and geotechnical applications. It replaces the 520M geodetic platform tiltmeter as a more cost effective option. The dual-axis A601-2 sensor has the advantage of built-in micrometer leveling legs for easy installation on any horizontal surface. With an absolute gravity referenced electrolytic sensor, it delivers a precision of up to <25 nanoradians with no thermal drift. The options of high and low gain ranges are offered with outputs of ±8 Vdc (single-ended) and ±16 Vdc (differential).
